How to Apply Pour On

Applying StoneSet PourOn Gravel Binder is quick and straightforward. Using the PourOn Flow Bar, the binder is evenly distributed across the gravel surface where it penetrates the stones and forms a flexible bond as it cures.

Follow these simple steps to stabilise your gravel and transform loose stone into a clean, low-maintenance surface.

Clean

Prepare the surface

Ensure the gravel surface is clean, dry and free from debris. Remove leaves, dirt and loose contamination.
If the surface has been washed, allow 2–3 dry days before applying the binder.

Rake your gravel to correct depth:

6mm stone at 25mm deep

10mm stone at 30mm deep

20mm stone at 50mm deep

Mask and protect all surrounding areas with plastic and tape. Mark out your pour area for even coverage.

Cure

Allow to cure.

Allow the binder to soak through the stones and cure naturally.
As it cures, it forms a flexible matrix between the stones, stabilising the gravel while maintaining its natural appearance.

Most surfaces will be stable within 24 hours, depending on weather conditions.

Clean tools with white spirit.

Protect the area for 24 hours while curing.
